Sorting aubergines

Machine option: QSort

The QSort is your guarantee for the fast, accurate and efficient sorting of long vegetables and fruit – such as aubergines– on length, weight and curvature. Advantages are:

Peripheral options : Box Filler

With the specially designed Box filler, the automatic packing unit (patent pending!), your aubergines are aligned in the carriers by rollers that are fitted between the fingers of the carriers. The boxes and crates are automatically divided into compartments by a number of partitions. Each compartment can therefore be filled separately. The result is an evenly filled box or crate. This can give considerable savings on your labour costs. Advantages:

To sort washed potatoes, you can choose between the MSE Combicup or MSE CXL. Both sorting units have a special cup, which ensures that the potatoes keep laying properly during transport along the system. The Combicup is specially intended for smaller potatoes, the CXL for larger ones.

The MSE type is a tried and tested system of which more than 1,000 have been sold worldwide. The maximum speed is 4 potatoes per second per lane. The system is available with 2, 4, 6, 8 or a maximum of 10 lanes.

Sorting Tomatoes

The South African open field tomatoes require different sorting needs than greenhouse produced tomatoes. Additionally, fruit friendly treatment of your tomatoes is required. At Greefa we can fulfill these specific sorting needs.

 

Machine options

GeoSort

Tomatoes are sorted accurately and carefully by means of GeoSort. Special devices, such as a transfer unit with 'hands' and the Greefa flap ensure gentle treatment of the fruit. The system is composed of modules so that we can optimally fulfil any sorting requirement. GeoSort also functions perfectly in pre-sorting lines. The patented underwater V-belts ensure optimum distribution, even at maximum speed. The fruit is directly discharged in the water at a maximum speed of 6 pieces per second per lane.

During dry sorting, the speed is 7 tomatoes per second per lane. The system is available with 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 lanes.

Sorting cherry tomatoes

SmartSort

Greefa has developed a SmartSort specially for cherry tomatoes. This sorting machine sorts cherry tomatoes with an average weight of 12.5 grams at a maximum speed of 144,000 fruits per hour. The cherry tomatoes are sorted by size and colour using black/white and CCD cameras and by weight in the manual feeder with integrated load cells. A number of elements, such singulators, diabolos, V-belts and the pre-sorting area, are specially modified for smaller tomatoes.

 

 

Sorting vine tomatoes

MSE-CXL

This machine was specially developed for the vine tomato industry. We have fitted the tried and trusted MSE-CXL model with flat, Teflon-covered cups that enable the fruit-friendly vine tomato sorting. The vines gently glide from the cups onto an accumulating belt.

 

This weighing and packing machine is unique due to its intelligent computer programme. The programme makes it possible to achieve maximum yields by weighing grams as precisely as possible. The software combines a variety of data relating to previously sorted tomatoes and ensures that batches are consistent and sorted at high speed. The sorting machine is able to process six hectares of vine tomatoes at a speed of two cups per second per track. In addition to being fruit friendly this machine is also user friendly. Crates are automatically fed into the system and transported by the machine. Only two employees are required for placing the vines in cups. This sorting machine enables you to meet the specific packaging demands of your clients, such as trays or small bags. This special edition of the MSE is available in a number of models, ranging from 2-track to 8-track. The modular construction makes your machinery easy to expand.
