MSE

There are 3 different types of the MSE sorting machines, each especially designed for certain sizes and shapes of fruit and vegetables.

Type

Suitable products

MSE-CC

fruit and vegetables up to 100 milimeter such as apples and citrus

MSE-CXL

semi-large fruit such as avocados, mangos, large patatoes

MSE-MXL

large fruit like melons and iceberg lettuce

MSE- CC

For years on end, MSE has been a very popular sorting unit worldwide. The unit has met with such success due to the special cups which are suitable for sorting fruit with difficult shapes and sizes, such as sweet peppers and pears.

Technical Details

Number of lanes

2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 lanes

Max. sorting speed

5 pieces of fruit/second

Possible modules

Size, colour and weight (and combinations of these)*,

iQS*, iFA*, iFD*

Maximum number of outlets

50 outlets

Sorting range (fruit diameter)

min. 40 mm, max. 120 mm

Size sorting accuracy

+/- 1 mm, depending on rotation

Fruit weight

Width conveyor belt

300 mm or 400 mm

* The type of measuring system applied may affect the maximum sorting speed

Peripheral equipment

Of course, we supply all peripherals and logistic devices to complete the sorting unit, together with other suppliers if necessary. Examples are bulk bin tippers, water dumpers, (semi-)automatic packing units, packing belts, underwater fillers and box fillers, robots, scales, (de)stackers, washers, dryers, etcetera.

MSE-CXL

This unit is especially designed for large fruit such as melons, avocados, mangos or large washed potatoes.

MSE is composed of various modules. As a result, the unit always allows for future adaptation to any capacity and sorting possibility required. Differences in height are restricted to a minimum during transport of the fruit. Discharge of the fruit from the cups onto the conveyor belt is controlled by

the patented Greefa flap. Additionaly the sorting unit is low in noise.

MSE-MXL

This reliable sorting machine is specially designed to sort melons, and can also handle other produce (like iceberg lettuce). It is developed in close collaboration with several experienced melon growers. The result of their experience and our technological skills have resulted in a product we are proud of!

Advantages MSE-MXL

  • Suitable for larger fruit such as melons, iceberg lettuce
  • High capacity
  • Fruit-friendly treatment

iFA technology

The iFA technology makes it possible to determine the brix value of your melons. Also, “internal brown” can be sorted out.

The MSE-MXL is constructed from various modules. As a result, we can always adapt the machine to the desired capacity and sorting possibilities. Possible modules are size, weight, colour, iQS and iFA. The machine causes minimum transition differences when moving fruit. The unloading of fruit from the cups on the evacuating belt is controlled through the patented Greefa slab. Additionaly, the sorting machine is low in noise.
