Greefa iQS on Avocados

 

First in the world

The Greefa iQS system was succesfully installed with Letaba Packers in June 2008. It is the first succesful automatic quality sorting of avocados in the world. Letaba sorts the avocados in 3 different external quality groups. Greefa can do up to 5 though.

 

Letaba Packers is situated in Tsaneen, Limpopo. They have been succesfully operating for a whole season now.

 

Their existing grading lines were replaced by one MSE-CC 8 lane with 25 outlets. This unique new layout has created much more space in their packhouse.
